Q What are Bean Bags?
A Bean Bags are comfortable furniture that takes the body shape and posture. Its made of Fabrics and comes filled with Polystyrene Beads. Its light in weight, portable and can be carried around anywhere in the house.
Q What are the fillers used in Bean Bags?
A Bean Bags filler comprises of PVC Pellets or Polystyrene Beans. These beans have a certain density and get compressed over a period of year and a half. Additional Beans could be topped up in the Bean Bag to get a regular shape.
Q Are the Bean Bags comfortable for my back?
A Its highly subjective to the individual. While some old people and customers with back problems find it very comfortable, others feel problem in getting out of it. If you have severe back problems, we recommend you to consult a Physiotherapist before using it.
Q What is the general life of a Bean Bag?
A Bean Bags life depends of usage and quality. Outer Covers have a life of 5 to 7 years. The inner beans get compressed after a year time and need additional filler beans. Our Bean Bags come with 2 year guarantee on all the products.

Prices
Q Are the prices given on the web inclusive of shipping?
A No, the prices on the web are not inclusive of Shipping. Shipping price depends on design selected and City of Shipping.
Q I see bean bags being sold in market for lesser price too, why are the prices higher here?
A CAN Bean Bags is a reputed brand and our Quality is high in our agenda. Our Bean Bags are distinct than the ones you must have seen being sold by road side vendors. These Bean Bags are made with export quality Fabric, Dual stitched seam, Inner Cotton Liner, High Density Beans that does not lose the shape easily and above all our Uniqueness of Designs. We offer our buyers a price match guarantee on some of the products which means that if you find a retailer selling these products at cheaper prices than us for the same quality, we will match the difference.
Q Why are prices different for different designs?
A Every Member of the Bean Bag family have unique design and supports different body postures. Consumption of Bean, Fabric and time required to make the designs are different and hence the prices are distinct.
Shipping
Q How do I know the shipping prices to my city?
A To know the shipping prices for your city, please go ahead and add the design to the shopping cart that you are interested in buying. Once the shopping cart displays the product price, you can select your city. Shopping cart will then display the shipping price for a unit product for your city.
Q If I decide to pick up the shipment from your Factory or Office or one of your Dealers, do I need to pay any Shipping price?
A No. If you decide to pick up the bean bag from our Office, Factory, or one of the Dealers location, you need not pay any shipping fees or handling charges. In that case, please select the option of Pick up from the Shopping cart and you will be asked to pay only for the price of the product.
Q Who pays for the Octroi Charges?
A Some of the cities levy nominal octroi charges, the cost of which would be borne by the customer. These charges are very nominal.
Q What is the transit time for Shipping?
A Generally it takes 2 to 3 days for shipping to Metros and 5 to 7 days for Non Metros.
Q What is the mode of shipment?
A We work with 7 logistic partners and we use one of these to deliver your goods.
Q Do I get a tracking no. once my shipment is dispatched?
A Yes, you do get a tracking no. once the shipment is dispatched. In case you do not hear from us, you can contact our shipping team at amit@canbeanbags.com
Q I live outside India, can I get a Bean Bag filled with Beans?
A For our customers outside India, we can ship only the outer covers and not the complete bean bag. However you can buy the Beans from any of the nearest Walmart Stores or packaging stores.
Q For shipments outside India, what are the charges and mode of shipment?

Guarantee
Q What is the guarantee offered on Bean Bags and other products?
A We offer a two year guarantee on all our products that covers workmanship, stitching, and fraying of fabric. However we are not responsible for any damage caused to the bean bag due to mishandling and damages due to tearing of fabric.
Q What if my bag has got torn from centre and beans are coming out? Is it covered under guarantee?
A We are not responsible for any damages caused to the fabric during usage. If you want to get the cover replaced, please unfill the beans in a plastic bag and send us the outer cover. We will send a FREE new cover if your product is under the two year guarantee period. If the product is outside the guarantee period, we charge nominal fees to rectify the problem.
Q Who pays for shipping the goods back to you in case the bag gets damaged during guarantee period?
A In case of damage caused to the bag during the guarantee period or beyond guarantee period, the customer pays for shipping the outer cover to us. If the bag is under guaranteed period, we do not charge for sending the new cover to the customer. If bag is outside the guaranteed period, shipping charges for sending the new/rectified cover is paid by the customer.
Returns
Q What is your returns policy?
A If you are not satisfied with our product, you can send us the unpacked good back within 7 days from receipt of goods. The bag should be in an unpacked condition to accept returns. Customer pays for the shipping charges incurred during returning the bag. CAN Bean Bags is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage caused to the bag while it is returned back to us. In the event of loss/theft/damage to the bean bag while its being returned, customer holds the liability for the cost incurred.
Usage & Safety
Q What is the correct way to use a Bean Bag?
A Please avoid jumping on the bean bag to protect it from getting torn. Refrain from using Bean bag near a sharp or pointed object like knives, table corners, nails etc. Refer to our instructional video for Bean Bag Usage.
Q Are there any choking hazards due to usage of Bean Bags?
A Yes. Prevent kids from accessing the beans of the bean bags as it might cause choking hazard. Our Bean Bags comes with twin layer locking to prevent kid’s access. We provide an outer Velcro lock to conceal the zipper and a zipper lock to conceal the beans. In majority of our Bean Bags, we put an extra cotton liner to conceal the Beans.
