What are the Bean Bags?
Bean Bags have been interestingly popular since 1960’s as an alternative form of furniture. Filled with Styrofoam or PVC Pellets, these are one hell of a product that contemporary, comfortable and cost effective. Bean Bags take the shape of your body on sitting and regains back its normal shape when not in use. The inside filling gives a sand like effect making it highly popular for stress busters. Bean Bags are used by all age groups, though its predominantly popular among kids and teens. Its versatility of use and aesthetic appeal makes it one of the widely used alternative furniture for drawing rooms and living rooms.
Composition of Bean Bags
Bean Bags are made of Fabrics that’s relatively soft and easy to maintain. The outer crust of Bean Bags are made of Fabrics like Leatherette, Cotton, Denim, Micro Suede, Original Leather, Vinyl Leather, Fur, Hemp, Cotton, Corduroy and Parachute Nylon. Occasionally Bean Bags have an inner cotton liner that protects the inner beans from popping out and ensuring additional strength. What are Bean Bags filled of ?
Bean Bags are filled with tonnes of Fun and tonnes of Comfort!! Technically they are filled with Styrofoam or PVC Pellets. Use of Shredded foam and Feathers are becoming increasingly popular. PVC Pellets are categorised as per the density of the Beans ranging from Highest Density to Lowest Density. From Cost perspective highest density beans are most sought after as they do not shrink or get compressed easily. A lowest density bean is thickest in size and gets compressed easily. Generally low cost Bean Bags have poor density fillers as they take more space by consuming least quantity. Always remember to ask about the density of Beans used in the Bean Bags from the retailer that you are buying from. PVC Pellets have a downside of getting compressed over a period of time. In that case they could be topped up by filling in more Beans through the Zipper enclosure. PVC Pellets also have health hazards if swallowed by children. A Good Quality bean bag would have child safety locking and enclosure to handle this problem. Always remember to ask the retailer if the Bean Bags are child safe.

How to Use Bean Bags ?
Just sit on it and you will know yourself how to use it!!!
Bean Bags are very easy to use and maintain. There are 100s of way to sit on a Bean Bag but you would need one strong reason to get out of it. Bean Bags take the shape of your body when you sit on it and hence there is no predefined way to use a Bean Bag. However do refer to Safety and Usage Instruction at the end of this page to ensure long life of your Bean Bag.
Bean Bag Family
People generally perceive Bean Bags as regular leatherette make Bean Bag with six vertical panels and some fillings. There are numerous ways in which Bean Bags are made and there are 100s of designs that are a part of Beanie Family. Extra Large- 42” Height X 96” Base Circumference X 30.5” (Approx) Diameter
XXL – 47” Height X 114” Base Circumference X 36” (Approx) Diameter
XXXL – 50” Height X 123” Base Circumference X 39” (Approx) Diameter
4 ft Sac – Diameter 4 ft, Height 0.5 ft to 1 ft increasing
What Size is best for me ?
While large size is appropriate for Kids, XL is the most commonly used size by teens and elderly people. XXL offers spacious arm rest while a XXXL has the finest seating area and arm rest area.
People having body weight in the range of 100+ often opt for XXXL size. XL can take weights up to 80 Kg while XXL can take body weight from 80 Kg to 100 Kg. XXXL have maximum weight taking capacity of 150 Kg.
While choosing a Bean Bag, one should also keep in mind the space restraints. XXXL Bean bags are bulky and consume approx 45” floor Diameter when put in use. XL Bean Bag is the most versatile range from space perspective.
XXXL Bean Bags are highly recommended for taller people exceeding height of 6ft.
Which Design is best for me ?
Bean Bags are the most simple and comfortable range of alternate furniture. No matter what crap anybody is selling, always remember that “Bean Bag Rocks!!” Be it a late night office meeting, watching a Hollywood blockbuster, gossiping with your friends, Watching Sachin Tendular hammering Brett Lee’s Deliveries, Cruising through the speedy lanes of Auto Bahn on your Sony Playstation, Trying to get Cossy with your girl friend, or just a quick nap(Make sure your boss isn’t wtching), Bean bags does it all.
Bean bag however does not offer’s you a back support or a firm seating option (As if you Care!!!). But if you do care, Beanie chair offers more formal seating options. These have L shaped seating area and can be used in Library rooms, drawing rooms or even on your terrace.
Gamer Chairs are made for hard core Gamers and people who use Laptops often. Gamer chairs have low seating height, wider seating area (for gamers who steer their body as they steer their cars and bikes) and sporty construction. These are made from padded panels that give an amazing sporty look. Gamer chairs are also popular for use as modular sofas and casual seating.

Liner or Non Liner ?
All our Fabric Range of Bean bags, Gamer Chairs, Sofa Beds, Loungers and High End Chairs come with inner cotton liner. These Cotton liners offers extra strength to Bean Bags and at the same time protect beans from popping out in case outer cover gets damaged.
It’s recommended to have an inner cotton liner in all the Bean bags.
